Antique Persian Afshar. The bone tone ground presents eight rows, in three columns, of characteristic palmettes alternating with bird-like motives, and with square rosette fillers. Rust, light and medium blue are among the secondary tones. This motif combination is found on Afshar saddle bags as well as rugs. Ecru strip style border with floating hexagons and paired triangular fillers. Dark blue minors with linked rosettes.
