This high pile, southern Caucasian small kellegi (long rug) show three characteristic octagonal medallions in ecru, abrashed green and blue, with cloud bands (or snakes) arranged around square centres. Madder red field with stars, plants and an animal. Karabagh ivory border of doubly connected stars. Thick pile, all wool construction. Moderate/coarse weave. Good condition.
