This cotton foundation, west-central Persian, Chahar-Mahal district rustic carpet shows the characteristic saturated dye palette, expressed by an expansive navy medallion, pendanted ecru subfield, and clear medium blue corners. The drawing is sharply semi-abstract. Ecru border with weeping willows, chevronned cypresses and flowering plants. Medium/moderate weave. In the Heriz style, but a viable alternative. Good condition.
