One of the more individual villages in the Greater Hamadan Weaving Area, Bibikabad tends to specialise in larger room size carpets with camel-tone plain outer borders. This unusual scatter shows columns supporting vases overflowing with long, bent leaves.Small grotesque ivory faces are developed from cloud bands or decorative bosses. Caffe au lait field, orange details, and a red border of botehs hanging from an angular meander in the Saraband manner. Symmetric knots, cotton foundation. Good condition.
