The popular “Garrus” forked arabesque design, usually seen on larger carpets, has here been successfully fitted into the navy field of this Kurdish city kellegi (long rug). Red, ecru, teal and light blue are among the accent tones. Ecru border with flattened oak leaves and rosettes on a faceted meander. Compact, dense and robust. Medium weave. Good condition.
