This incredibly compact and solid Kurdish town weaving pairs of rose palmettes, with jagged curled leaves and “turtle” medallions in rows between. Nearly a Herati design, but better. Rose-pink border with petal palmettes and hook-ended blue leaves. Ivory connected S “dragon vine” minors. . Excellent wool. Medium-fine weave. Cotton foundation. Good condition. Beautiful carpet.
