The medium blue field is closely covered by the Gol Hennai pattern repeat and supports a small ivory and rust lozenge medallion with en suite quarter corners. Properly corroded celadon green strip style reversing turtle palmette border. Cotton foundation, medium/fine rustic weave. West Persian work. A genuine Farahan from the 1870's, before the Sarouk influence. Natura dyes and handspun materials.
