A many-branched weeping willow fills the ogival head of the ecru niche field, with a lower vase radiating layers of flowers. Two near naked Majnum figures with associated animals shelter beneath the tree. Rust floral spandrels. Navy strip style border with rosettes and cartouches. Majnun is a protagonist of Nizami’s Layla and Majnun tale. Well woven with unusual iconography. Good condition.
