From the important Tekke tribe in Turkmenistan, this door rug features a four panel red field with rows of dark blue ensi-kush desigs, a central crossing in ecru, red and navy, and a red repeating “pine tree” main border. Panel with “bulls’ eyes” above field and full width lower elem panel  with geometric lozenge-shaped flowers.  Outermost three side border with double E’s on ecru rectangles. Well-woven, all wool construction. Excellent nomadic wool pile. Fully geometric.
