Antique Hajijalili Tabriz. This well-woven piece attributed to the master weaver Hajji Jalili shows a cream” Book cover” field with burgeoning floral tendrils, supporting a roundish stepped and lobed roundish rust medallion with pendanted octogramme centre. Deep red -rust corners with volute vine décor. Straw border with turtle palmettes and dense supporting vinery.
