This well-woven, “Serapi” quality room size rustic carpet shows a stepped and angled abrashed red field supporting a pendanted navy stepped and lobed medallion with an inner blood red square floral cartouche. Ecru corners with mobile formal vinery and palmettes. Navy strip border with rosettes, dots and doubly bent leaves. Three reds and a magnificent green. Cotton foundation. Good condition.
