Antique Persian Isfahan. This city scatter is developed in the “book cover” pattern with a shaped red field hosting bold acanthus split volute scrolls around a navy, gently scalloped ogival medallion. The cream corners are pendanted and travel along the sides of the field. Straw round border with a continuous palmette pattern. A “second generation” Isfahan rug.
