This central Persian city scatter from the 1920’s, shows a blood red field largely covered by an abrashed blue medallion and ecru sub-medallion. Volute corners. Palmettes and cloud bands in the field. Border with cartouches and octogrammes. Palmettes and various types of leaves everywhere. Finely woven on cotton foundation. Well-drawn, but not congested. Good condition.
