Antique Persian Isfahan with Silk Foundation. The maroon field displays a serpentine raceme surrounding an ecru medallion edged by sharply curving leaves, large and small pendants, and with a quadripartite straw centre. Striated side and end columns. Signature lower centre and a narrow filigree arabesque border. Extremely fine weave.
