This interwar red/dark blue/cream medallion central Persian city carpet displays a dense coverage of palmettes, forked stems and florets, while the lightly lobed medallion displays a cursive octograme centre. Red border of palmettes. Cotton foundation, fine weave. Short pile. Good condition.
