This large kellegi (long rug) on wool, with a moderate weave, features a well-abrashed dark blue field presenting six Turkmen-style medallions in red and medium blue, and uniformly edged with hooks. Zig-zag red innermost surround. Ivory main border with colourful pairs of “wedgie shoes”. Unusual format, village work, good condition, wool foundation.
