Fine Antique Kazak. The unusual light blue field shows a fragment of a Kuba lattice pattern with stylized flowers and stepped escutcheons. The yellow border shows a design of paired wedgie shoes. The inner and outer minors both show bitonal red and near black elaborate reciprocal arrowheads. A jaunty little rug with a very idiosyncratic palette.
