the aggressively abrashed red field shows three hooked octagons, with a central Memling gul flanked with larger teal panels displaying the characteristic four arm stylised palmette crosses. Ivory central border with classic fork meander, and flanking stripes with flip-flop vines. Reduction and issues at one end. C. 1920. Fairly good condition with a moderate/coarse weave on wool.
