This SW Caucasian long scatter features a madder red field centred by six disjoint hexagons accented by volutes, in green, straw, blue, aubergine and cream. Smaller hooked diamonds along both sides of field. Straw-honey border with knot volute rosettes. Outermost ecru border with small disjoint ‘S’ pattern. Wool construction, natural dyes. Very well coloured and unusual for a Kazak main border. Good condition.
