Antique Caucasian Kazak. Lots of dots, birds, stars and lazy S’s closely fill the red field, head and tail dark blue medallion and red/ecru nested hexagrammes within. Main ecru border with square, floating four floret modules. Inner and outer keyhole reciprocal minors. In the border, the florets are multi-colored in each module, a nice touch. Similar borders appear on Anatolian rugs.
