This very rare, probably east Caucasian/west Caspian, scatter in an enlarged soumak bag face design shows seven panels alternating with curly hooked lozenges and triangles within narrow borders, on dark blue grounds, and sections centred on flattened hexagons with side points and light blue details. The main ecru border shows a row/column of small lozenges with triangle surrounds. Seemingly unique, probably a Kuba, definitely not a Kazak, much too complicated and worked out. Good condition.
