Antique Persian Kurdish. This small rustic scatter shows a strong madder sub-field centred by a pole of three comb-fringed diamonds with central pinwheel rosettes and similar rosettes alongside. The discreet green field shows faceted zig zags along the sides with rosettes in the corners. Dark blue border with rosettes in quadruple brackets. Wool foundation. A charming village rug with crisp colors.
