Antique Caucasian Lezgi Rug. The near black field of this eastern Caucasian scatter is filled with rosettes, hooked diamonds and lazy S’s, forming a busy support of the three 12-pointed Lesghi stars up the middle in red and ecru with medium blue beveled square centres. Main ecru border with Union Jack stars, and secondaries with stepped small devices. Ecru end narrow plain weave finishes.
