Well-designed “Mohtasham” Kashan scatter with a pinched and shaped red field whose banded outer edge is repeated around the central navy medallion. Rosette and aroid pendants. Navy extended corners. Ivory quarter sub-corners mimic the octogramme central sub-medallion. Navy rosette and boteh leaf borer. Velvety pile of Merino wool, short clipped and finely knotted. Good condition.
