In a modified “bookcover” layout, with a pointed red field decorated with medium and small palmettes and leaves. Ivory stepped and scalloped medallion and small navy sub-medallion. Ecru corners with navy escutcheons. Navy main border with stem sprays and various rosettes. Short and velvety mill-spun pile. Finely woven on cotton. Good condition for the age and use.
