A long-tailed feng-huang (phoenix) stands on a multi-toned rock, on one leg, under an autumnal plane (?) trees, against a near-black background. Rayed sun top left field corner. Cream border with chrysanthemum rosettes and pared short arabesque sections. Plain near-black outer border. Blue, salmon and cream detail tones. Contour outline cutting intact. Medium weave, on cotton.
