East Caucasian, medium weave rustic scatter with a dark blue, strip style Kufic border of modules of knots and brackets, framing the dark blue field with the characteristic rams’ hors, “daggers” and stylized birds. Up the centre is a run of beveled ecru squares. Small octagons, stars and quincunxes fill in. Wool foundation. Good condition. Should be stretched to square it.
