Fine and Rare Antique Persian Qashqai Tribal Wool Rug. This southwest Persian scatter shows a midnight blue field eclipsed by a giant squared and pointed cruciform medallion with a cartouche centre developing blue geometric internal pendants. The field shows animals among square rosettes. Long feathers run along the medallion sides. The narrow main border has interlocking and slanted ‘S’ diagonals.
