The rsare red ground of this NW Persian village scatter shows a pendanted blue diamon medallion set within an ivory “fence”. Visible field abrash. Ecru main border with square floret arrays alternating with square palmettes. Green/blue and near black crenellation reciprocal outer border. Wool foundation, medium weave.
