The slightly variegated mulberry red field displays the characteristic “American Sarouk" pattern of detached floral sprays, a large old ivory petal palmette and two erect “lyre" nested palmettes, all detailed in green, navy and creamy beige. Navy narrow main border of slanted leaves and palmettes. West Persian leathery village weave. Cotton foundation. Good condition.
