The ruby red field is centred by an unusual cream medallion with four exuberant pendants, and attached blossoming vases. Navy corners with points. Navy border with petal palmettes and millefleurs vinery. Woven just before WWI with the postwar influences creeping in. Cotton foundation, fine weave. A well-drawn and clearly unique creation. Short pile. Good condition.
