The warm sandy-cream sub-field displays a layered plain royal blue and Herati-patterned red notched lozenge medallion with small flowering vases and drinking cups. Peacock heads are paired as pendants. The navy field sneaks around the sides from the Herati corners which enclose red Herati sub-corners. Navy reversing turtle border in the characteristic Senneh style. Cotton foundation, single weft, fine weave. From Sananadaj in Kurdistan in NW Persia. City scatter. Good condition.
