A higher grade “Serapi” type Heriz, with a well drawn ecru field decorated with rustic palmettesand angular bits of vinery, all well-balanced, supporting a gently scalloped navy medallion with palmette pendants closely embraced by serrated C-shaped leaves, Red corners with cloud band-shaped floral ornaments. Navy strip-style border with rosettes and doubly bent serrated and tilted leaves. Moderate, firm weave. Natural dyes and handspun materials. Good condition.
