‘In the higher “Serapi” grade, with a strong navy octogramme medallion with ecru pendants, standing out on the madder red stepped field. Barbed leaves and stiff stems set around. Cream 12 boteh sub-medallion. Cream corners with small volutes and fractional cloud bands. Red strip-style reversing turtle border. Moderate, solid weave on cotton.
