Antique Caucasian Shirvan Dagastan. The ascending polychrome palmette pattern on the ecru field continues under the barbed niche arch into the spandrels. The arch is filled with little rosettes. The main red border shows barred S’s, while the inner features stars and the outer possess chains of lozenges. Both secondaries have dark brown grounds. Beige wool warp and a moderately fine weave.
