Antique Caucasian Shirvan. The creamy ecru field shows half-drop rows of densely hooked diamonds, uniformly with octagon rosette centres. The diamonds form diagonal colour rows in red, medium and dark blues and light green. The red main border features Union Jack rectangular stars while the outer straw border repeats this basic motif in miniature.
