This early 20th century, finely knotted central Persian silk pile city carpet shows a “tree of life” growing, branching and flowering the height of the shaped ivory, niche field, with subsidiary side trees Perching birds hide among the branches. Near black tendril pattern spandrels. Bird and flower border. A well-designed and executed carpet. Good condition.
