The very desirable copper-rust field supports a bilaterally symmetric design of cypresses, ragged and petal palmettes, sickle leave and bent leaves, against a scatter of small posies. Navy strip border of cartouches. “Hajji Jalili†quality with a briskly smooth, upright pile and a slightly softened palette. A well-woven NW Persian urban scatter from a respected centre of Persian weaving. Good condition.
