Rust, rust, rust. The rust field displays a perfectly balanced allover small textile pattern of octogrammes alternating with diamonds both horizontally and vertically in an 11 by 19 gridwork pattern, accented in light blue, cream and straw. The very unusual beige main border displays diamonds in open blue rectangles alternating with nested lozenges. A well-woven NW Persian city carpet with size, tonality and pattern versatility. Good condition.
