This finely woven, impeccably drawn central Persian city scatter shows a rare pale blue field overlaid by strapwork decorated by floriated botehs. Millefleurs filler fits neatly in the strapwork. Red border with winged palmettes and bracketed Palmettes. Palmette minors on near black grounds. Tehran rugs are usually unique: a precise pattern cartoon was meticulously drawn for each rug and not re-used. Cotton foundation. Good condition.
