This very unusual Interwar piece from the national capital in central Persia features an axially symmetric mountainous landscape with nearly bare trees and attractive abrash everywhere.
The spindly trees are in blue, teal and brown tones while the mounting hills are in shades of rust, straw, sand, and palest green. This is nothing what you would expect from a city rug. Fine weave, good condition.
