Antique Persian Tehran. This finely woven interwar urban scatter shows four diagonal navy arabesque motives forming an implicit medallion on an ecru-bone ground. Corner hexagons with paired saz leaves add to the effect. Dark crimson border with ogival palmettes and crenellated blue vine. The border palmettes are joined at the corners. The omission of a true central medallion is not missed.
