A very finely woven, interwar scatter from the Iranian capital city, with a modified Zil-i-Sultan design of well-packed offset echelons of floral bouquets, vases and paired perching birds, on a sandy ground. Straw main border of paired flowerheads. Characteristic matching ivory reciprocal minors. Low-clipped, upright, excellent quality pile. Cotton foundation. Good condition with an attractive variant of an impeccable and aristocratic design.
