The rose field shows two sideways set, giant ragged palmettes, with lateral half rows of Yaprak (“leaf”) motives. Rose-brown main border of oblique hyacinth sprays and rosettes in the Ottoman manner. All wool construction, coarse urban weave from western Anatolia. Rare to find the usual vertical patterns turned 90 degrees.
