In the Ottoman Court style of the 16th century, this finely woven Turkish city niche layout scatter shows a ruby red field symmetrically and densely patterned with ascending saz leaves and various palmettes, beneath vermiculate – pattern straw spandrels. Mid-blue rosette, saz leaf and palmette border. Good condition.
