The interwar forgeries of classical Turkish and Persian carpets created by the Romanian Tuduk,, especially Turkish ivory-ground bird rugs. Today semi-collectible in their own right. Tuduk tricked museums and collectors, and even now questionable early rugs appear that may be Tukuk’s.
