Probably Caucasian Zakatala rather than Turkish, this wild and rough scatter  shows a charcoal field with  stepped lozenges in straw, green, red, cerulean and sand in no particular  order.The abrashed rust to red main border  features triangles and simple hooked motives. Sand outer stripe wit broken squares. Like a Kazak, but less disciplined. Zakatalas have been recognised as a distinct type only recently. Coarse weave, all wool construction.  Good condition. Good
