This central Persian Char Mahal district village scatter shows a scaliform escutcheon pattern in ecru, red, navy medium blue, straw, rust and blue-green, with standing complete flowers or escutcheons with “fish” leaf supporters enclosed therein. Straw-pale camel border with flowers embraced by comb-edged leaves. Cotton foundation. Moderate weave. Saturated palette. Good condition.
