Nothing as it seems Nothing as it seems address the issues of identity and resilience using an heavily iconic object like the vase: transgenerational and transcultural. The Chinese industrial vase is broken and rebuilt on a metallic texture of mobile chains which gives them the possibility of taking infinity shapes. The vase has lost its original function of containing; however, the object’s identity survives the destruction. The mobility of the destroyed shape transforms the values of initial object.
