Egptian Saltanabad Design. Period Persian Sultanabad rom size ecru ground carpets are quite rare, but a modern Egyptian piece, as here, will prove a suitable replacement, with a large pattern of curvy connected large palmettes in restrained secondary tones of straw, light teal, ivory and salmon-rust. Wide straw strip-style border with rosettes and jagged, recurved slanted leaves.
